Debate is raging in Uganda on a proposal to execute homosexuals. I would like to share a letter with you that found its way to my inbox a few minutes ago, from Ben Wikler of Avaaz.org, urging us to take action against this extreme potential violation of human rights.

The job of White House tweeter was made for Jason Pollock. Since I have known him on twitter, he is constantly uniting his fellow tweeters through ustream shows, lists, and mentions of the things he finds great about each of them. One of the very first people to welcome me on twitter was Jason and his constant encouragement has definitely been a major factor in keeping me there. No matter how busy he is or what he is promoting, he has always had time to stop and show support for others.

It’s so natural, we barely even notice we do it. Tilting a head to expose the neck, smiling or laughing at something that really wasn’t funny, moving closer to the person making unfunny jokes, mimicking their actions.
